I’m directing this message to David Law, as I’m assuming he remains the Chair of PatCom because I haven’t heard of any organizational changes that might be occurring
for 2016. I’d like to repeat my suggestion made at the December PatCom meeting that PatCom undertake a formal written comment process for the proposed new FAQs that were on
the agenda for the December meeting (and that now appear likely to be on the agenda for the March meeting). As there is no recordation of comments made orally at the actual meetings, it would be appreciated by Nokia if our opinions and suggestions -- if we
have any -- could be preserved via some formal process. Moreover, as the larger set of FAQs previously was opened up for a formal written comment process, it would be inconsistent to not do the same for the new additions.
