[PP-DIALOG] Draft FAQ updates related to the custom LOA form

Thank you to all who submitted comments on the previous version of the draft updates to the patent policy FAQs.

Attached to this message are the following:

- Clean version of current proposed updates to the FAQs

- Mark-up version of current proposed updates to the FAQs

- Comment responses from PatCom on comments received

Please be apprised that PatCom met (in Executive Session) on 15 October 2019.

The PatCom Chair expressed his thanks to the members of the PatCom Ad Hoc on the Review of the FAQs for their contributions. Members are: Don Wright (chair), Stephen Dukes, Yvette Ho Sang, John Kulick, Dave Ringle, Dorothy Stanley, Phil Wennblom

The proposed updates to the FAQs will be discussed under agenda item 5.1 at the 05 November 2019 PatCom meeting. [Please see the agenda at https://standards.ieee.org/content/dam/ieee-standards/standards/web/governance/patcom/agenda.pdf]
