I also vote NO on Motion 36.03.
This problem is complex (discussions, partly in private, have shown
some issues, and there may still be hidden ones), thus flavors should
be based on an implementation before they could be standardized.
The idea of flavors came too late, and IMHO, there isn't enough time
to include them in the standard and carefully check everything. And
more generally I agree with Prof. Gudenberg.
Flavors could be a goal of the first revision of the standard (like
how decimal arithmetic was introduced in IEEE 754).
