Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] Reminder: CAC meeting 9 ET Monday, 11 August 2025

Hello,

> Non-given name to be capitalised but not to be required to be last

OK, I finally found it literally a minute after the call ended!  It's

not anywhere in emails (as far as I can determine from searching my mailbox),

but e.g. in 25/1064r11 slide 6 (and I'm not picking on Alfred per se;

I think I've seen this in other groups' agendas too, and in Webex chats

too I think) we have:

  • Please ensure that the following information is listed correctly when joining the call:
    • "[voter status] First Name Last Name (Affiliation)"

This should be:

  • Please ensure that the following information is listed correctly when joining the call:
    • "[voter status] Full name (Affiliation)" with the non-given part of the name capitalised

Thanks,

Mark

Hello Robert,

Can we have the following on the agenda to discuss, please?

- Times to be given as local times for F2Fs (no explicit timezone, and not ET/EDT/EST either)

- Times to be given in ET (not EDT/EST) for non-F2Fs (explicit timezone but not summer/winter time indication), preferably with reminders (or the UTC time) when regions of the world are changing between summer and winter time

- Non-given name to be capitalised but not to be required to be last

- Presenters to be asked to turn off formatting markers (dots in spaces, CRLFs, tab arrows, etc.) when presenting Word documents

- DVL emails not to say "DO NOT FORWARD"

- DVL emails not to give a time that is off by one hour in the summer (see also "just use local time" above)

- DVL not to send a "you didn't vote" email if one did vote

- imat grace period to be reinstated after the end of a slot

Thanks,

Mark
