Colleagues, As reported during the IEEE 802 EC Teleconference on June 6th, we will be holding an IEEE-SA Fellowship program at IEEE 802 and have confirmed four individuals for the program. More information can be found in the presentation given at
the teleconference and posted on mentor at
https://mentor.ieee.org/802-ec/dcn/17/ec-17-0088-00-INTL-fellowship-program-for-july-2017.pptx. The program will be slightly different than in the past, as these participants are policy makers/regulators. The program will begin on Sunday, July 9th with an "Introduction to IEEE 802" from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. At this session, the
fellows will be asked to introduce themselves, including describing their role in their organization. Paul will then provide an overview of IEEE 802. As I indicated verbally, I would like to ask if each Working Group Chair (or their designee) could give a brief overview of your working group and current activities. The time slot is a maximum of five minutes and, if you would like to
use slides, a maximum of two slides (if you want to use slides). All members of the EC are invited to attend this session, but if you do not have a defined role for this session, please do not feel that you are required to attend. Please note that, as these participants are regulators/policy makers,
