[802SEC] Clause 12 report for Bidirectional 10 Gb/s, 25 Gb/s, and 50 Gb/s Optical Access PHYs to RevCom

Dear EC members,

At the 18th March 2021 IEEE 802 teleconference meeting, conditional approval was granted to forward IEEE P802.3cp Bidirectional 10 Gb/s, 25 Gb/s, and 50 Gb/s Optical Access PHYs to RevCom. Details are provided in the attached report, but in summary the response to the IEEE 802 LMSC Operations Manual Clause 12 'Procedure for conditional approval to forward a draft standard' items are as follows:

a) The recirculation balloting is complete. The
   second recirculation ballot occurred in
   accordance to the plan presented.

b) The approval rate is 100%. A total of fourteen
comments were submitted, all were determined
by the comment resolution group to be out of
scope as they were not with respect to a changed
portion of the last balloted draft nor any
unsatisfied negative comment (as this ballot
has 100% approval). In addition, supplementary
rationale was provided for each comment to
explain why it would have been rejected had it
   been in scope.

c) No technical changes have been made.

d) There are no new valid DISAPPROVE comments
   on new issues.

e) There are no new invalid DISAPPROVE votes
which require details to the Sponsor.

f) Please see the attached for the date the ballot
   closed and the vote tally.

Based on the above, IEEE P802.3cp will remain on the June 2021 RevCom agenda.

Best regards,
  David
