Thanks for the opportunity to contribute questions.  However, I am not sure it is worth spending the manpower to participate.  The concerns of many individuals and companies were not given any weight in forming certain aspects of the policy revisions, so I am not sure if it is wise to ask questions that will be answered by the same small voting group within IEEE that formulated the policy.  

 

Still, I always encourage participation where possible, so we will take the offer to supply questions under consideration.

We are working on educational materials that describe the IEEE's new patent policy and are developing FAQs to help illucidate some of the policies' nuances.  We would like to be sure our materials cover questions you think should be addressed as part of our educational materials and FAQs.  Please send me any questions you would like us to address by Friday January 19, 2006.
