RE: IEEE p2030.1

UPAMD,

Can someone look into the NIST Smart Grid Foundational Standards
http://www.nist.gov/smartgrid/grid_20101013.cfm particularly IEC 61970 and
IEC 61968.

It would be nice (having a look into 1547).
As I understand it, there is some communication (why not use it in
UPAMD?)... and someone already thought about what we are thinking now...

Piotr,

Can you make some suggestions?

1547 is the standard that contains the islanding provisions such as are used
in the solar panels that are on my roof.

I can certainly see where more understanding is needed on how these will
interact with P1823/UPAMD.

I can request a copy for our use if needed.

Very good thinking.

What about "synchronizing" UPAMD with 2030.1?
December issue of The Institute brings info about some standards related to
power grid.
2030.1 is about communication between (electric) car and grid.
Also IEEE 1547 interconnecting distributed power-system resources (our case:
wall plug, battery, and similar connections)
